Feltham's Rajiv Ouseph will this week battle it out for England - the week after retaining his national singles crown.

The badminton star was unstoppable in once again landing the men's singles title at the English National Badminton Championships in Manchester.

He did not drop a single game on his way to the final, where he defeated world no.35 Carl Baxter 21-16, 21-15.

Ouseph barely had time to draw breath before being pitched into action for England in the European Team Badminton Championships, which began on Tuesday in Liverpool. Second seeds England were due to continue their group matches against Czech Republic, Wales and Scotland yesterday and today.

Ouseph and co, who last year finished second to this year's favourites Denmark, are favourites to qualify for the knock-out stages.
