Northwood travel to fifth placed Waltham Abbey tonight (Tuesday 3/3) as they face another tough test to their Ryman League Division One North play-off credentials.

Woods suffered their first defeat for more than three months when they went down 1-0 at second placed East Thurrock United on Saturday in a match which saw Rob Ursell miss a penalty for Northwood.

However, Woods still sit fourth in the table and firmly in the play-off picture. They are currently one point ahead of tonight's opponents Waltham Abbey.

Northwood boss Dave Anderson has further strengthened his squad with the signing of striker Eugene Ofor. The 29-year-old striker has been out of action for a while since being released by Boreham Wood last November.

He has also played for Braintree Town, Chesham United and Hendon.

Tonight's match at Waltham Abbey kicks off at 7.45pm.
