Hayes and Yeading United will look to maintain their challenge for a play-off spot in the Blue Square Conference South when they travel to the Camrose tomorrow (Saturday 31/1) to face lowly Basingstoke Town.

United revived their stuttering form with a first win of the year over Dorchester Town in midweek to move seventh - two points behind Welling United, who currently occupy the last play-off position.

Basingstoke are having a miserable season and sit in the bottom three of the table although they did pick up only their fourth win of the campaign in midweek beating Bromley 2-0 at the Camrose.

They have been further boosted this week by the news that striker Alan Tait has extended his loan spell from Conference Premier side Eastbourne Borough until the end of March.

One player who will be disappointed to miss tomorrow's match is United's former Basingstoke striker Scott Fitzgerald who is still sidelined with the serious shoulder injury he picked up last year.

Kick off at 3pm.
