Wealdstone are hoping that they have found another gem in Potters Bar Town striker Josh Hutchinson, the same club that delivered up Tom Pett who has moved up to the pro game with Stevenage via a hugely successful period with the Stones.

The prolific striker found the net 32 times for the Southern League outfit last season and will be a very valuable addition to Gordon Bartlett’s plans for the coming campaign.

Josh has played previously at National League South level for Billericay Town and has also appeared for Cheshunt.

He joins Ryan Hope at The Vale. Hope is a central midfielder who has come through the Watford Academy and has appeared for Boreham Wood in the Vanarama National League.

Oliver Duffy has also signed on; joining from Hanwell Town.

Scott McGleish has been appointed as first team coach but will remain a player.

Carl Martin and Jonathan North have secured coaching and media roles at local Premier League side Watford as part of their career progression but both will continue to be available to play for Stones.
