QPR could be interested in a loan move for Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham ahead of the new season.

The England Under-21 international, who spent the season on loan at Bristol City, scored 23 goals in 41 appearances for the Robins, an excellent tally for a team who finished 17th in the Championship.

This led to the youngster being awarded the club's player of the year, young player of the year, and top goalscorer awards; the first player in the Bristol City's history to win all three.

With first team opportunities at Chelsea highly unlikely for the 19-year-old, another loan move to the Championship looks likely, and despite the liklihood of substancial competition in the league, QPR may be a good option for a player who lives in the London area.

The forward has also been linked with a move to recently-promoted sides Brighton and Newcastle United.
