QPR have had a bid turned down for Swedish international Saman Ghoddos, according to reports by HITC Sport.

It’s reported that a bid of £1.8m was rejected, with his club Ostersund looking for a fee in the region of £3.6m, according to sources close to the club.

The Hoops join the likes of Celtic and Ajax in the hunt for the talented striker, who broke into the Sweden national team this year, scoring a goal in two appearances for his country.

The attacker caught the eye in a shock Europa League qualifying victory over Galatasaray, where he contributed a goal and an assist in the 2-0 home victory.

Ghoddos scored four goals and six assists in 14 games in the Swedish Allsvenskan last season, while also scoring seven in seven in the Swedish Cup.
