Nottingham Forest have been linked with a January move for Fulham keeper Marcus Bettinelli, according to the Sun on Sunday.

The stopper hasn't managed to get into the first team after losing his place to David Button in the summer after getting injured and has made just one appearance for the side in the Carabao Cup.

Button's form has meant that Bettinelli has been unable to dislodge him, but the 25-year-old would'be been the number one choice had an injury in pre-season not occured.

And now, the Sun on Sunday report that Mark Warburton will make a move for the keeper, despite him only signing a contract extension until 2020 in August.

They also state that Forest made a move for him in the summer, but were quoted £5million by the Cottagers.
