QPR youngster Josh Bowler has turned down the offer of a new contract at Loftus Road, according to Sky Sports.

The news would be a big blow to the West London side who have made it clear they would like to keep the midfielder at the club.

If the reports are to believed, it looks increasingly likely that the move to Goodison Park could be on the cards, as Ronald Koeman looks to assemble a squad of Britain's finest young talent.

The 17-year-old has been the subject of two bids from the Toffees, both of which have been rejected, and it was reported last week that the club offered him a new deal to tempt him to stay at the club.

Bowler is under contract until the June 2018 after signing an 18-month deal in February this year, but with news of a rejected contract offer, it appears that a move away from West London could be on the youngster's mind.
