Fulham are rumoured to be in the race for young goalkeeper Maxime Chopin.
The 16-year-old, who is currently on the books of Stade Rennais, is said to be attracting the attention of several English clubs including the likes of Southampton, Derby County and Norwich City.
The academy as Stade Rennais is in a particularly fruitful phase, with the Cottagers and Brentford also keen on 18-year-old forward Stephane Diarra.
Chopin, although far from the finished article, is tipped for big things in the game, and is said to be a prime target for numerous Category One academies in the UK.
If Fulham do pull off the deal, it will be the West London side's first signing of the summer, and certainly one for the future.
