Fulham are set to compete with Championship rivals Middlesbrough and Aston Villa for Bristol City defender Aden Flint, according to the Daily Mail.

The 27-year-old, who has a reputation as a goal-scoring defender, moved to Ashton Gate from Swindon Town for a fee of £300,000 in 2013.

He played a key part in winning promotion for Bristol City and consolidating their place in the Championship, with the RObins now seen as a regular competitor in the Championship.

Robins' boss Lee Johnson has said that the club will listen to offers for the defender, who could be available for a fee in the region of £4million.

Flint, who signed a new long term deal in December last year, scored five goals for the Robins in 46 appearances.
