Former Leeds man Noel Whelan believes Thomas Christiansen's side should sign QPR's Jake Bidwell, as well as Preston striker Jordan Hugill.

The QPR left back has made over 200 senior appearances despite just being 24, and has made 58 for Ian Holloway's side since signing from west London rivals Brentford in 2016.

Leeds currently sit in seventh place in the Championship and will be looking to strengthen in the January Transfer Window, and the former Leeds man thinks the pair would make good signings as Leeds look to gain promotion to the Premier League.

Speak to BBC Leeds, Whelan said: "Bidwell, yeah, fantastic player. Hugill, well, I have always said he is a man wanted by many, many Championship clubs."
