Mark Warburton is confident Brentford can fend off growing interest in on-loan Spurs midfielder Alex Pritchard.

The England Under-21 international has scored three goals in 21 games for the Bees and is due to remain at Griffin Park for the rest of the season.

However, Tottenham can recall the young gun in January, with QPR, Burnley and West Brom all showing an interest.

But Warburton said: “Alex is an asset and is only increasing in value. He is enjoying playing regular football and our game suits him, so all parties are benefiting.

“He has a good relationship with the club and we are constantly talking to him and his agent.

“Alex is a talented player and is a pleasure to work with. He is doing a good job for us, so why rock that?”
