Tottenham are set to table a £12m bid for Ryan Sessegnon in an attempt to pip Liverpool to the signing of the Fulham wonderkid.

Sessegnon turned 17 in the week, meaning he can now sign a professional contract at the club, but the Sun are reporting that Spurs are in the driving seat for the youngster who has turned heads with his performances at Craven Cottage this season.

It's claimed that Daniel Levy is aware that the Liverpool club are hoping to win the race for Sessegnon, and have tabled a £12m bid in hope they will be allowed to speak to him first.

It also goes on to state that Fulham are worried about Sessegnon's value should he not sign a new contract, however GetWestLondon understands he will sign on the dotted line at the club, along with brother Steven.

The two twins are currently in Croatia where they watched England U17s suffer heartbreak in the Euro U17 final, losing 4-1 on penalties to Spain after drawing 2-2.

Meanwhile, Fulham are looking at bolstering their ranks themselves and are eying Osasuna striker Kena Kodro as a summer transfer target.
