Adel Taarabt has arrived in Italy to complete a loan move to AC Milan.

Taarabt has spent the first half of the season with Fulham on a season-long deal from QPR.

But he was left out of Tuesday night’s squad for the 2-0 defeat at Swansea.

Rene Meulensteen has given the green light to cut the Moroccan international’s stay at Craven Cottage short so he can link up with Clarence Seedorf's side

Taarabt arrived for a medical with the Italian giants this morning and told Milan Channel: "I'm honoured to be able to play for the best club in the world.

"I spoke with Seedorf and we're both happy to work together. I'm an attacker and I like to play behind the strikers.

"I don't know [Mario] Balotelli personally but I know who he is and it's pleasing to be able to play with him and with Kaka."

Taarabt has not scored in 12 Premier League outings this season.
