Stevenage eye Brentford striker

Dagenham and Northampton Town also interested in Bees youngster Norris

Loan ranger: Luke Norris impressed at League Two level this season

Stevenage are lining up a move for Brentford striker Luke Norris.

The 20-year-old scored once in three games for the Bees this season and also enjoyed successful loan spells at Northampton Town and Dagenham & Redbridge.

Norris smashed five goals in nine starts for the Cobblers before netting four times for the Daggers in the second half of the campaign.

The Brentford youth-team graduate is among several development squad players being offered a new deal at Griffin Park with his contract due to expire in the summer.

However, Stevenage, Dagenham and Northampton are among a string of clubs who have shown an interest in signing the Hertfordshire-based hitman.

Brentford would be entitled to compensation should Norris decide to move elsewhere.
