Barnet have given a football lifeline to former Leicester City defender James Pearson
The 23-year-old has moved to the League Two club on a non-contract basis after being sacked by the Foxes in the summer.
Pearson, son of former Leicester boss Nigel, was one of three players filmed taking part in a racist orgy during a post-season tour in Thailand.
Tom Hopper, Adam Smith and Pearson, were seen laughing as they verbally abused three Thai girls, while they committed sex acts with them in a Bangkok hotel room, reports Mirror Online.
They were immediately sent home by the Premier League leaders while the video was investigated, before being sacked in June.
Within a matter of weeks, Leicester axed boss Nigel Pearson after a breakdown in his relationship with the club's Thai owners.
It was understood at the time that the dismissal of his son was a pivotal factor.
After completing his move, the defender said: "I’m very happy to have signed for Barnet. Now it’s time to get going and to get some games under my belt.
“I spoke to the manager and he was looking to give me a chance and see what I’m all about.
“I’m delighted and very grateful that he’s given me an opportunity to prove what I can do – to play at this level with Barnet, and to potentially progress further with this club in the future."
Hopper and Smith, who were sacked at the same time as Pearson, secured moves in the summer to Scunthorpe and Northampton respectively.
