QPR are tracking midfielder Josh Scowen following the news that he is to become a free agent at the end of the month.
According to the Sun, the Hoops, along with Nottingham Forest, Preston North End and Bristol City are interested in signing the 24-year-old, who impressed this season with Championship side Barnsley.
Scowen made 41 appearances, scoring two goals for the Tykes.
The versatility of the midfielder is something of an attractive proposition, as he is equally at home on the right side of midfield and at full-back.
With competition set to be high for Scowen, it's likely that QPR will have to move swiftly if they are the secure the services of the highly sought-after talent.
