Wealdstone have made contact with Marvin McCoy over a possible return to Grosvenor Vale following his release from Wycombe Wanderers.

McCoy moved to Adams Park in July 2010 for an undisclosed fee but failed to earn a new contract at the League Two club this summer.

He is available on a free transfer and Get West London understands the Stones have approached their former player of the year about a possible reunion.

A versatile player, McCoy is capable of playing across the defence and in midfield and would add depth to Gordon Bartlett’s side as they prepare for life in the Conference South.

The 25-year-old made 40 appearances for the Chairboys last term as Wycombe escaped relegation on the final day with a 3-0 victory at Torquay United.
