QPR boss Harry Redknapp is ready to 'gamble' on West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison.

The ex-Manchester United youngster was bombed out by Championship side Cardiff City and is surplus to requirements under Sam Allardyce at Upton Park.

Morrison scored six goals in 17 games on loan at Loftus Road last season, and Redknapp, who has been told he has no money to spend, is willing to give the 21-year-old a final chance to silence his critics.

He said: “I think Ravel’s got amazing talent, but he’s going to waste his career unless he gets his finger out quickly.

“I think I might be last chance. He has got to sort himself out. Fergie ended up getting rid of him, Sam got rid of him and they are top, top managers.

“I'm open to taking those chances with people – I have done it over the years and maybe I will do it again. It’s a gamble, but if you are in the loan business you are in the gambling business.”
