QPR boss Chris Ramsey confirmed the club have rejected bids for Matt Phillips and accused rival teams of trying to take advantage of Rangers' relegation.

West Brom are keen on signing the winger, although are also interested in bidding for Nottingham Forest's Michail Antonio.

And Ramsey is keen to keep hold of one of the club's brightest talents ahead of their new Championship campaign.

He said: “We've had offers for him but they've been people who are trying to take advantage of our situation.

“He's an exciting young player, who wants to learn and I think he'll only get better. We haven't had the right offer for him so he won't be going anywhere.”
