QPR head coach Chris Ramsey has confirmed the club are interested in signing Southend goalkeeper Dan Bentley, although the club have other goalkeeping targets.

GetWestLondon revealed last week that the Rs were lining up the League Two goalkeeper of the year, who made crucial saves from the penalty spot to give Southend a penalty shoot-out victory over Wycombe.

Rangers have lost number two goalkeeper Alex McCarthy to Crystal Palace and Rob Green has also been linked with the Loftus Road exit door.

And Ramsey has confirmed that 22-year-old Bentley is on the list of goalkeeping targets that QPR have.

He said: “He's one on our list and there may be a few other players on our list. It's just about doing the deals in time for next Saturday.

“He's just one on our list. I'm not sure if that's going to happen by next Saturday.”
