QPR are reportedly working on a deadline day deal to poach Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
Harry Redknapp is understood to have had an offer accepted for the former Arsenal and Manchester City forward.
Adebayor has 18 months left on his £100,000-a-week contract at Spurs but has been told he can leave White Hart Lane today if he can find a suitable move.
Stoke, managed by former R’s chief Mark Hughes, are also interested in taking the Togo international.
Hoops boss Redknapp worked with Adebayor during his time as Tottenham boss and has already stated his desire to bring in another frontman.
Mauro Zarate has been recruited on loan from West Ham but Redknapp wants more firepower after concerns emerged over the fitness of Zarate.
