QPR have rounded off their transfer activity with the last-minute signing of West Ham striker Modibo Maiga.

The Mali international has featured 19 times for the Premier League club this campaign but has been given the green light to head to Loftus Road on loan.

Maiga follows Aaron Hughes, Guilherme Dellatorre, Kevin Doyle and Will Keane in making the deadline-day move to W12.

Boss Harry Redknapp told the club's website: “Obviously we lost Charlie earlier in the week so we’ve been lucky that we’ve managed to work to bring a few strikers in at fairly short notice.

“We’ve brought some strikers in who are all good players, we can rotate them, change them about and that’s what you’re looking for.

“This last week has shown that it’s so important to have a good squad of players, and that’s what we’ve got here.”
