QPR look set to lose two players to Premier League clubs before the transfer window shuts - but not the ones they want to ship out.

Danny Simpson is on Leicester’s radar, and boss Harry Redknapp admits they’ve received an offer from Crystal Palace for Armand Traore that Hoops have accepted.

The Frenchman looks certain to rejoin the man who signed him for Rangers in August 2011, as soon as Neil Warnock gets his feet under the Palace table.

Bid: Leicester City want Danny Simpson

And right-back Simpson has no desire to play second fiddle to new signing Mauricio Isla, one of two Chile World Cup stars, planning to make inroads at Rangers this season.

On Traore, the manager said: “It’s a good offer, and it’s up to Armand if he can work terms out.”

The manager was scathing about his side’s exit at Burton in the Capital Cup on Wednesday, but admitted there had been no offers for the likes of Shaun Wright-Phillips or Junior Hoilett who disappointed in the cup shock.

Redknapp said: “There were seven lads in that team who were here when the club was relegated (from the Premier League).

"There are some who I would listen to for offers; and others I would not, but you need the phone to ring; someone’s going to have to want them first.”
