QPR have clinched the signing of winger Yeni Ngbakoto from French club Metz for a fee believed to be £1.5m.
Ngbakoto, 24, has signed a three-year contract at Loftus Road despite a late approach from Wolves, who last week trumped Hoops in their chase for Iceland international Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.
However, this time Rangers had already done the legwork on the exciting player from France - see video above.
Earlier, negotiations broke down over the price, but Rangers bit the bullet to make sure all that research didn't go to waste.
