QPR have firmed up their interest in former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand with a one-year contract offer.

The experienced centre-back is also target for Aston Villa, as well as clubs in Turkey and the USA, according to the Daily Mail.

However, Rangers are prepared to hand Ferdinand a bumper deal to try to lure him to Loftus Road.

The 35-year-old worked with Harry Redknapp at the beginning of his career with West Ham and the pair could be reunited in west London.

Meanwhile, QPR are also tracking Galatasaray winger Bruma, according to reports in Turkey.

The 19-year-old is also wanted by Chelsea, Everton, Stoke and West Ham.
