QPR are in talks with Norwich about a £5million deal for midfielder Leroy Fer.

The 24-year-old featured 32 times for the Canaries last season following his switch from FC Twente.

However, the Dutchman, who played for Holland in the World Cup, could quit Carrow Road this summer following relegation to the Championship.

And Harry Redknapp is ready to offer Fer the chance to remain in the Premier League, according to the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Brazilian keeper Julio Cesar is wanted by Benfica as a replacement for Jan Oblak, who joined Atletico Madrid.

Cesar was frozen out at Loftus Road last season and will be allowed to leave W12 this summer.
