Esteban Granero is willing to take a wage cut to remain in Spain with Real Sociedad.

The QPR midfielder was on loan to the La Liga side last season, but despite the fact he only made four league appearances after an anterior cruciate ligament injury to his right knee, the Basque club want him back.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim the 27-year-old is keen to return to Real and take a financial hit in order to fit in with the club's wage structure.

A second loan spell for the 27-year-old looks likely, as Rangers gear up for a return to the Premier League.

Granero moved to Loftus Road from Real Madrid two years ago and made 24 PL appearance before Hoops were relegated at the end of the 2012-13 campaign.
