QPR and Rotherham are at a stalemate over Rangers' attempts to sign striker Danny Ward and Ian Holloway is moving on to other targets.

Rs have had two offers rejected by the Millers, who find themselves cast adrift at the bottom of the Championship table.

And that means that the Rangers boss is set to look elsewhere to try and resolve the issues that QPR have up front.

Holloway said: "It's none of our business at the moment, we've done what we felt we needed to do, they haven't given us a fee that they would accept.

"It's a bit of a stalemate really, so I'm trying to move on and see what other options we might have."

Idrissa Sylla has been the only striker available to Holloway in recent weeks and QPR will be growing ever keener to bolster their firepower in the final 12 days of the transfer window.
