QPR defender Jack Williams has joined Wycombe Wanderers on loan.

The 19-year-old links up with Gareth Ainsworth’s side ahead of the new League Two season, which kicks-off this weekend.

The defender faces stiff competition for a place in the starting 11, with Jake Bidwell and Jack Robinson both vying for a starting spot against Reading in the Hoops’ Championship opener, with Ian Holloway deciding the defender needed first team football.

Williams, who enjoyed a brief spell at Bishops Stortford during the 2017/18 campaign, made 19 appearances for QPR’s Under-23s last season.

The defender will remain at Adams Park until 1st January 2018.
