Former QPR keeper Jake Cole has joined Aldershot from Woking where he is reunited with ex-Hoops boss Gary Waddock in his second spell at the Recreation Ground.

Cole, who played six times for Rangers between 2003 and 2009 had loans at Barnet and Oxford, before joining the League Two Bees permanently.

He then joined Plymouth before linking up with the Cards in 2014, and has now moved eight miles down the road in the National League, while Chris Arthur has also left Woking to join Crawley Town in League Two.

The left-sided defender was at Loftus Road for three years until 2009, before spells at Rotherham United and then 26 appearances for AFC Wimbledon that led to his stint with Woking.
