Norwich have tabled another bid for Fulham striker Ross McCormack.

Canaries manager Alex Neil is determined to sign the Scotsman and Sky are reporting he has made a third offer in excess of £10million for the Whites star.

Fulham will only entertain bids off more than £12million for the player they paid £11million to recruit from Leeds United two years ago.

McCormack banged in 21 Championship goals last season for the Cottagers despite the club fighting at the wrong end of the table.

Fulham’s struggles cannot be attributed to the talismanic striker and are instead rooted in their porous backline which Slavisa Jokanovic has been working on this summer.

He did not travel with the squad for their pre-season training camp in Portgual last week as transfer speculation rumbled on over his future.

Newcastle and Aston Villa are also known admirers of the hotshot and could yet make late bids to rival the Canaries for his signature.

Neil’s side remain clear favourites to land McCormack though as Fulham count down the days until facing the Magpies in their season opener on August 5.

Fulham have already lost Moussa Dembele , who formed a formidable partnership with McCormack last term, to Celtic during this transfer window.
