QPR have announced that seven players have been released by the club after their contracts come to an end at the end of June.

As GetWestLondon reported earlier, Clint Hill heads the list of those heading through the Loftus Road exit door.

And the popular defender has been joined by fans' favourite Alejandro Faurlin, who battled through three serious knee injuries.

Goalkeeper Robert Green was frozen out by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and his departure has been confirmed by the club.

Armand Traore, Yun Suk-Young, Samba Diakite and Oscar Gobern have all also left Loftus Road after failing to impress the Dutchman.

Loan duo Paul Konchesky and Gabriele Angella return to parent clubs Leicester and Watford respectively.

However, Karl Henry and Junior Hoilett are in discussions with the club about extending their stay in W12 after impressing in the second half of the season.
