Niko Kranjcar has returned to QPR on transfer deadline day.

The Croatian is one of Harry Redknapp’s trusted troops and has worked with him previously at Tottenham and Portsmouth.

Kranjcar also played for Rangers last season and helped them to win promotion to the Premier League while on loan.

And he’s back now on another season-long deal from Dynamo Kiev.

Kranjcar said: “It’s a great feeling to be back, it feels like home. I felt a special emotion with the club and the fans.

“The fans were phenomenal last season. I had a great relationship with them and hopefully it’s only going to get better.

“I really feel happy here, at a club where I really want to play, and I play with all my heart. I can’t wait for my season to start with QPR.”

Meanwhile, it looks as though Adel Taarabt will be staying at Loftus Road after a move failed to materialise for the mercurial Moroccan.
