Brazilian wonderkid Nathan has confirmed his move to Chelsea via Instagram.

The 19-year-old has been in west London for talks with the Blues since April over a proposed move from Atletico Paranaense.

Jose Mourinho's side already have samba stars Willian, Ramires, Filipe Luis and Oscar in their ranks while Lucas Piazon is out on loan.

“A dream is coming true,” the player wrote on the social media network on Monday.

“First of all I want to thank God for always lighting my way, my dad who always believed in my talent and was a real warrior while helping me to reach my goals, my family and friends who always supported me...

“And I am also thankful to Club Atletico Paranaense, which was part of this journey and where I played for 6 years of my career.

“Thank you Chelsea for trusting in me, I will do my best to support my team on reaching new achievements.”

Nathan also posted photos of himself at Chelsea's Cobham training base, including one of him putting pen to paper on a contract, though the the club have yet to formally announce the deal.

He starred for his country at the 2013 U17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates and put Europe’s elite teams on red alert.

Any move would be subject to Home Office approval on a work permit for the U20 international.
