Neal Ardley admits Will Antwi is nowhere near a first-team return as he struggles to overcome a hip injury.
The Dons defender hasn’t featured this season and has played just five times in 2013.
And frustrated boss Ardley says the Ghanaian’s problems are no closer to being resolved.
"Will's still out long term, it's a mystery," said the Kingsmeadow chief.
"He needs to train and play development games for at least a month before he's ready for the first team."
Winger Chris Arthur won't be back until the new year as he continues his rehab from a fractured ankle, while defender Andy Frampton is managing a muscle problem.
