Jose Mourinho’s son has signed a two-year scholarship deal with Fulham.

The 16-year-old is a talented young keeper who has previously been with Chelsea and Real Madrid’s youth sides during his dad’s time at both clubs.

Mourinho junior, who confirmed the news via his instagram account, penned forms with the west Londoners today alongside his mother Mathilde.

"Thank you to everyone who supported me, I'll make you proud," wrote the 16-year-old alongside a picture of the contract signing.

Man United manager Mourinho will no doubt be keeping a close eye on things back at the capital to see how his son is developing at Craven Cottage.

Fulham begin their Championship campaign against Newcastle on Friday 5 August at the Cottage.
