Brentford are fighting it out with Championship rivals Ipswich Town for Yeovil Town full-back Luke Ayling.
Bees boss Mark Warburton plans to make a couple of additions to his squad this summer following promotion from League One.
And former Arsenal trainee Ayling is among the players on their radar, according to the Western Gazette .
The 22-year-old has played 185 times for the Glovers during his four-year stay at Huish Park. However, the defender is out of contract in the summer and could quit the club after relegation from the Championship.
Yeovil would be entitled to compensation for Ayling as he is under 24.
