Marinus Dijkhuizen has confirmed Stuart Dallas does not want to sign a new deal at Brentford and is likely to leave the club.

Leeds have had a bid of £1.25million accepted for the Northern Irishman and a deal could be reached before Saturday's season opener against Ipswich.

And Dijkhuizen confirmed that Dallas wanted to leave the club but was absent from the game with Norwich due to a family bereavement.

Dijkhuizen told BBC London: “He is not here because of private reasons and not linked with a departure.

“He has a year left on his contract and he doesn't want to sign so he might leave in the next couple of weeks. It's the same as Moses as he might want to go.”

Dallas could follow Moses Odubajo out of the Brentford exit door after the full back told the club he wanted to leave after a bid from Hull came in. Jonathan Douglas has been told he is free to leave the club as well.
