Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has revealed that QPR are in the process of deciding the futures of their nine out-of-contract players.

Junior Hoilett, Alejandro Faurlin, Armand Traore, Karl Henry, Samba Diakite, Rob Green, Paul Konchesky, Clint Hill and Oscar Gobern all see their deals with the club come to an end in the summer.

Rangers have already made it clear that Green, Diakite and Traore are no longer wanted at Loftus Road.

And Hasselbaink is planning what the club will do in the summer.

He said: “Some are playing for their future, some not. At the moment, we are planning behind the scenes about what we have to do but that is normal as every healthy club does that.

“It doesn't matter if you've got people out of contract or not, you always plan for the future.”

Hoilett is unlikely to be offered a new deal but Hasselbaink was impressed by his performance in the 2-0 win over Derby.

He added: "His application has been absolutely tremendous off and on the ball. Take nothing away from the team today.

"I think it was a really great team performance. You need individuals to work for the team but it was everybody who had a good performance."
