Stephen Humphrys has been loaned out to League One Shrewsbury - where he joins Fulham team-mate Jack Grimmer.

The 19-year-old striker will tread the well trodden Cottage route by getting experience in the lower leagues.

Magnus Norman, Cameron Burgess and Larnell Cole are already with other clubs, while seniors Grimmer, previously George Williams, Richard Stearman, Jozabed, Sean Kavanagh and Ryan Tunnicliffe - recently departed for the rest of the campaign to Wigan - are also on loan.

Oldham-born Humphrys made his debut as a sub in the 2-2 draw with Derby in December after a terrific scoring sequence in PL2 - the top reserve league - where he has netted 12 goals - the best in the division.

The highlight was a hat-trick in November against Middlesbrough halfway through a five-game successive goal scoring run - very much in the vein Humphrys’ idol Jamie Vardy.

Fulham are currently third on the table behind Newcastle and Swansea.

After his Derby debut, he made three more appearances in the first team against Brighton and Cardiff in the FA Cup.
