Phil Babb is hoping to add a few more new faces to his Hayes & Yeading squad tomorrow night.

The United boss is looking to tie up deal for a number of players after holding a pre-season training session at Beaconsfield Road.

Rhys Murrell-Williamson, David Ijaha, De`Reece Vanderhyde and Gary MacDonald have all signed with the club this week.

However, Babb is still building ahead of Saturday’s Conference South opener at St Albans City.

Negotiations: Hayes & Yeading boss Phil Babb

Joe Anyinsah and Ben McNamara, who played in Saturday’s friendly defeat to St Neots at York Road, are just two of the names in the frame.

“We are still in negotiations with Joe Anyinsah and Ben McNamara,” Babb said.

“Joe is a talented player and has played in League One. He’s a decent player but we need to see if the logistics can work out to bring him to the club.

“I like Joe and I’ve spoken to Chris Powell about him. He’s been looking to get a house in London, he lives in Chester at the moment, and we should be able to reach an agreement in place if he sorts out his living arrangements.

Wanted: Joe Anyinsah in his Charlton days

“Ben is a keeper from Northampton and wants to play more regularly. We’re looking at him with a view to nailing down another keeper in time for Saturday.

“Mikhael [Jaimez-Ruiz]  is still at the club but we want to add competition and Charlie Crowley has gone. We need more experience to fight for the number one shirt. We’re looking to have it sorted out by Tuesday night.”

First-half goals from Matt Nolan and former Chesham hotshot Chris Dillon did the damage for the Saints on Saturday in Maidenhead.
