Bordeaux have confirmed that Fulham have made an offer for Diego Rolan with the Whites keen to tie up a deal for the striker.

The 24-year-old Uruguayan has been identified the Whites as the frontman they need to go one better after their defeat in the play-off semi finals to Reading.

Cologne, Leverkusen and Schalke are also interested in the former Defensor Sporting man.

Stéphane Martin confirmed that Rolan 'looks in demand' going into the summer transfer window.

However, he insisted that the club were 'very calm' about his future going into the start of pre-season.

Rolan scored nine Ligue 1 goals last season in 29 games and, in his career, he has scored four goals in 23 appearances for his country.

Fulham would have to wait until July 1 for the transfer window to open but the German side would be able to seal a deal earlier with the transfer window there already open.
