Fulham have made an offer for US World Cup star Matt Besler.
The Sporting Kansas City defender is attracting interest from a string of clubs following his performances in Brazil.
Besler featured in all four games as Jurgen Klinsmann's side qualified from the group stages before bowing out to Belgium in the last 16.
However, the 27-year-old's rock-solid displays at the back have not gone unnoticed, with several English sides chasing his signature.
The Cottagers and Premier League outfit Sunderland are both understood to have made offers, while Aston Villa and Stuttgart are also keen.
