Fulham striker Patrick Roberts is on the radar of Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool.

The teenager made his first start of the season in the 1-0 defeat to Wolves on Wednesday night and appears to be in the Reds' sights.

Whites boss Felix Magath said of of the 17-year-old: "Liverpool are looking.

"He will develop to the Premier League and I believe he’ll be a national player for England in the next year. How fast he’ll develop, nobody knows, but his skill is incredible."

Magath also said there is no further news on Greek striker Kostas Mitroglou, who he wants to leave Craven Cottage.

The German has previously rounded on the club for shelling out a record £12m for the player in January.

Mitroglou's former club Olympiakos are reported to be willing to take the striker, who has been dogged by injury problems and made just one start and two substitute appearances since arriving at Craven Cottage, on loan but so far no move has materialised.
