Fulham resisted deadline day interest from Arsenal in Ryan Sessegnon, it has emerged.

The Daily Mirror are reporting the Gunners asked about the 16-year-old wonderkid in response to the Whites’ enquiry for Serge Gnabry.

Gnabry was a loan target for the Whites, who are under a transfer embargo, and Arsene Wenger’s side saw it as an opening to go for the England U16s captain.

Sessegnon is widely regarded as one of the best left sided prospects in youth football since Gareth Bale.
