Fulham youngster Chris David has been linked with a move back to Holland with FC Twente.

The 21-year-old finally joined the Cottagers from the Eredivisie outfit in January 2013 after a deal fell through in the previous transfer window.

David has been forced to bide his time in the reserves but made his first-team debut in the FA Cup tie with Norwich at the turn of the year before marking his first Premier League appearance with a goal in the final game of the campaign against Crystal Palace.

Twente are keen on taking the the Amsterdam-born midfielder back to the club, according to Voetbal International, but David could play a key role in the Championship next season as Felix Magath looks to rebuild his side around Fulham's young players.
