There will be no Fulham return for Ross McCormack - despite rumours he could be on his way back.

Even though Whites need another striker and the former hitman is struggling at Aston Villa, his old side don’t want him back either, GetWestLondon has learned.

Villa boss Steve Bruce is unhappy with the Scot’s weight and attitude, and although Fulham are on the hunt for a forward to augment Chris Martin - it’s not this one - even on loan.

Banished: Ross McCormack

McCormack scored 23 goals last season in 51 appearances for a struggling Fulham last season, and was implored to stick with the Cottage in the summer.

Instead, he made a £12million Midlands move, where things have gone south.

McCormack has only three goals from 22 appearances and has been banished to play in the Villa U23s after a row with Bruce.

Fulham have changed styles of play since last season where everything was designed to get the ball to him at the front, and the current set-up would have to change again to accommodate any Mac return.
