Slavisa Jokanovic will go to work on improving the Fulham squad after their season finale against Bolton.

The Whites face the already relegated Trotters on Saturday afternoon in what could be the final games for a number of players.

Captain Scott Parker is out of contract at the end of the season and it is not clear whether he will hang up his boots.

But, for Jokanovic, it is more about whether his side can deliver the three points rather than it being a send-off for certain members of his squad.

When asked specifically about Parker, Jokanovic replied: “There's many rumours about many players. Many players are out of contract.

“We are thinking and we are planning for the future. We can't do this in public but behind the scenes.

“We've going to be in the process of thinking seriously about recruitment in one day. This period in front of us before the start of next season is very important.

“We're going to find time for holiday and we have to be prepared for this after the Bolton.”

Water off a duck's back: Jamie O'Hara

Jamie O'Hara, Alex Kacaniklic and Emerson Hyndman are also out of contract and Jokanovic will hold talks with owner Shahid Khan in the coming days.

He added: “I take the decision. I am head coach. I have my decision and this is a club job. I expect the owner is going to be at the game and I'm going to have a chance to speak to him after the game and I expect he's going to stay a few days with us.

“I want to give him my opinion about the best way for us. I am not the one who has the money in the pocket.

“I'm not the one who buys and sell the players. I have my opinion and my decision and I'll make it clear to the people who are doing.”

Impressed: Michael Madl

The same applies to loan players such as Michael Madl, who has impressed during his spell at Craven Cottage.

Jokanovic explained: “After Bolton, it's our obligation to start to rebuild something and regroup and think about the future.

“It's many things we have to do behind the scenes. I can't tell you everything right now.”

Fulham take on Bolton Wanderers at Craven Cottage this Saturday (12.30pm kick-off) with junior tickets just £1 in all areas of the stadium. Adult ticket prices start from just £30.
