Fulham boss Kit Symons is looking for two or three more signings to strengthen his squad before the transfer window closes.

The Whites have added seven first-team players to their squad on permanent transfers, with Tim Ream joining the club last week, and have also brought in Luke Garbutt and Joe Lewis in on loan.

But, after a host of departures, the Whites are still in need of some added quality on the ball and strength in depth as virtually a full strength squad was used in last night's 3-0 win over Sheffield United, who had made 10 changes from their side who had beaten Blackpool on Saturday.

Symons said: “I'm looking for two or three more. Two at least, maybe three. It's what we're after.

While it is uncertain whether any new faces will be in through the door before Saturday's trip to bottom side Rotherham, the Fulham boss remains confident players will be joining before the window closes at 6pm on September 1.

Symons added: “I hope (we are close to our targets). There will be additions. I'm very very confident there will be more additions.”

Fulham are believed to be tracking another defender, a winger and a striker to partner Ross McCormack.
